CARDYFREN, S.L. offers a flexible service to assemble and repair cardanshafts from different manufacturers and kinds, and we also can make a mass production with a medium rate of 300 cardanshafts a month. Due to this flexibility, we can assist a wide range of customers who have different kinds of requirements. The repairs are usually made in a maximum time of 24 hours, we check all the components, and change those which are damaged, always using original new parts and finally, we balance the cardanshaft. In this way, we assure a real quality and a final result absolutely guaranteed.

Assembly process

On the horizontal press, assembly of the slip-joints and lining of the cardanshaft.

The joints are welded following the welding standard UNE-EN 288-3/A1.

This point, as it is one of the most delicate in the process, is made by our trained technicians who are specially skilled in welding, they adjust the machines to the parameters and check the welding carefully to avoid any failure.

Different samples of welded pieces are periodically checked in testing shops to guarantee the quality of our work.

   

Balancing is one of the most important final procedures, thus it lets us check and fix the correct operation of the cardanshaft in the dynamic way. We, so, balance the cardanshafts when working at high revolutions and detect if they can give problems of vibration, resonance, breaking risk, etc. Our balancing system follows both the standard ISO 1940 and our customers’ request.

   

Finally, the cardanshafts are covered with a protective coat and in special cases with the paint of by the customer demanded colour. So, the cardashaft is protected from the bad weather and we can avoid oxide on the different components.

To conclude the procedure, we pack the pieces in carton cases or in pallets, depending on the quantity of cardanshafts to be delivered, protecting them against hits or damage which can produce a malfunction when installed.
